SciFi Hermit by Fealasy SciFi Hermit by Fealasy
It's the Sci-Fi Hermit zomg. Little Alchemy sketches on the side there n lots of Corel Painter time spent on the dude himself. I stole some oldschool looking tiger tattoo parts fer his shoulder and hand refs from a friend, talk about friends, thanks mr Bostan for helping with you eye for correctness. - Not commercial.

amazing anatomy! tell me, do you have each and every little muscle placement and shape memorized or drew this from life?

Bloody awesome design on that character. And fantastic work on the details and such. =)

Great work, I love the realism. If I would change anything it would be the two large semi-circular shapes that converge into the chest. Maybe tone those down a bit and add emphasis on the shoulders instead. I also think he would appear more intimidating if his mask had facial features, like a japanese demon. Once again, great piece!!

looks extremely awesome! I also like to use corel painter, but unfortunatly I've got the Essentials version, it ain't as good as the other ones

the thumbs are especially cool. the design/shapes of the armour are consistent throughout and the color too, repeating elements give the character a slick feel. the man himself looks like alot of references were used or you just have a good grasp on anatomy, his hair and robe kinda flow like the tat and the muscles themselves seem to add to swirly rythem he has. though out of step he is balanced with his head placed between his feet.

The execution is fantastic but the armor seems a little over-worked to me. There's so much going on that I can't get a quick read of the design. Maybe muting the colors a tad would help.

I want to see the full-size versions for gadget abuser and westernized professional if you have done them or if you end up doing them. Those look so cool. Even your silhouettes tell so much.

That tattoo is just gorgeous, and I love the weight of the figure, it's very convincing. The costume itself is also fantastic; the melding of traditional and futuristic is very successful and the use of the primary colors in the armor really works here. The armor looks both substantial and functional, which is nice since I find a lot of armor designs to be lacking that way.

(Also, love the Alchemy sketches. I downloaded it and have become quite addicted to it!)

I hope that you will be doing the sketches on the side as well...because this is pretty radical.
