I heart this like I heart intestines... Ahem, I love the concept and the detail you've successfully put into this piece, mate. The small wing above his shoulder has this detail that makes it stand out... reminds me of an old map for some reason. Kudos to you!
Damn... Not like I haven't said it before about your stuff, but this is fucking amazing. Lighting, detail, the grotesque subject, it's just so awesome to look at. Can't help but favorite, you rock, so on and so forth. *__*
you said it all really, this IS what humanity would do if they ever captured a 'true' angel..
humans are repugnant at times.. espeically when it comes to crossing lines they shouldnt.. science
and government would rip it apart, searching for all the answers, just becasue they can.. its sad.. and very true.. a very real message about the world today..
i also, love your style of drawing.. its unmmistakable.. the scratch lines, and glowing colors here and there, are so unique and you can always know its YOUR work.. theresno mistaking it for anyone elses.. its tends to lend to the very real, and raw messages behind your pieces also.. compliments them very well..
it makes them more impactful..
youre detailing is excellent.. i love details, when i can look at something for ten minutes and still find new things, and you achive that briliantly.. the monitors, and their slight glow of cyan are very neoteric, and gives the whole meassage a very "now-a-days" feel..
so true, scientist woudl study them and try and my new discoveries and logic...so sad in a way...i hope you dont mind if i try and do somethign along those lines...never really thought of that..but now to the pic...
love the colors and idea and concept its great!
worthy of a fav
Ooo.. this kinda reminds me of a movie I watched last night.. only if I could remember the name -_-;
It was something about resurecting satan.. and they took a bunch of dead people, cut off thier faces and put them on fallen angels..
It's saddening, but I agree... humanity could never handle an angelic find. They'd rip it apart in hopes of finding the link to god. Fantastic image, the thumbnail really caught my eye - and fullsized, the detail just kicks ass.
